Oldtimers

I have a good idea!
I'm going to take you trough my musical journey of guitar solo's and songs I really like. Songs that have caused my love for the guitar!
Various songs trough time, different artist, different genres.

And I'm starting today.
This is the first song. I already mentioned it several times.. it's my all time favourite!
I remember.. it was about two years ago and this song was already my fav. I was in the hospital, at my dad's room because he was having a though time with his cancer(leukemie).
We all just sat in this small hospitalroom, not saying a word. The only thing we were doing was listening to the radio.
And suddenly, like somebody really heard my cries, my favourite song was played! 3 Doors Down - Here Without You.

Since that day, I never never never ever forget that moment and that song will be/shall be/ IS and will forever be.. my favourite song.
And I'm able to play it on my guitar.. not able to play and sing but I'm busy with it!
The guitar riff in the beginning is so beautifull.. that's the reason why I fell in love with this song. It's a pretty ease riff in the beginning with the chords:
